The exercise classes offered at Powerhouse Gym Athletic Club include boxing, yoga and others. Are you looking forward to being a part of our fitness classes however, you have a young child? No problem! Powerhouse Gym Athletic Club is a gym with childcare for all members. Our fitness classes aim to help get our memberships in shape while switching it up from their normal workout routine. Boxing: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 6:30 PM with Coach Dean
Powerhouse Gym Athletic Club memberships include FREE boxing classes. This 60-minute exercise class will be working on hand-eye coordination, reflex speed, footwork, mechanics, and overall conditioning. The boxing essentials used in classes include heavy bags, jump ropes, reflex bags, mitts, as well as others. Bag gloves or hand wraps are required. These are available to purchase at our Pro Shop or you may bring your own. Challenge yourself and join this boxing exercise class!
Yoga: Saturday mornings at 10:30 AM with Barbara Tigue
Also included with your Powerhouse Gym Athletic Club membership is this 60 minute NAMASLAY yoga class! We have mats or you can bring your own. Barbara Tigue has over 25 years experience in the fitness and health industry. She is an American Council on Exercise (A.C.E) certified Fitness Instructor, she also holds certifications in yoga, cycle/spinning and TRX. Barbara’s expertise lies in her dynamic yoga and her holistic approach to fitness for all levels. She has a straightforward approach and believes in self-discipline. Barbara’s confidence in oneself while also honoring your body, set her apart from most and make her an expert in her field. Come and join in!
